OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

Here at The Rich Immigrant, we understand the things that matter to you, and the challenges that immigrants may face uniquely. We are committed to 1st and 2nd generation immigrants in these three ways:

  • 1. Financial Independence: We that you are positioned to change the narrative when it comes to attaining financial freedom. Through blog posts, Instagram, and the podcast, we share tips, and personal stories to help you attain financial independence

    2. Community: We meet you wherever you are in your immigrant journey and in your financial journey. We know that many do not have a safe space to ask questions; our goal is to be that safe space for you and to connect you with like-minded individuals.

    3. A Rich/Full Life: Financial Wealth is great but there’s so much more to a rich life in our opinion. We talk about topics beyond finances to help our community get to that next level of living. That next level is one where we are committed to purpose, rid ourselves of limiting beliefs, represent for the culture, and show up as full contributors to both our home and adopted countries.

Meet Dee Olateru

Hi there! I’m Dee.
I’m a 3-time immigrant, an executive at a large global firm, a recovering procrastinator, a travel blogger, and founder of The Rich Immigrant.
I created The Rich Immigrant to fill a gap within the immigrant community. This space is inspired by my own struggles with

  • Becoming financially literate in the USA,
  • Finding my voice and place as an immigrant,
  • Finding the right balance between assimilation and
    authenticity, and
  • Finding personal finance bloggers that could relate to my
    specific situation

Armed with my own personal lessons, and with a passion to create what I wish existed, I’m excited to redefine what it means to be an immigrant, starting with us.
